Okay, after much thought, I decided I want to do a fish only 40 gallon aquarium. The tank has been cycling for a month, I have 1. 3 spotted damselfish and a blue damselfish. I know these fish get fairly aggressive so I have the tank setup with sight breaking decorations, and rocks. So my question what are some good fish that would do great in this tank with my current fish? And how many fish could I stock?

Once a 3 spot reaches adulthood it's more than "fairly aggressive". In my experience it's one of the most aggressive fish I've seen, including cichlids and red tailed black sharks. It might be a good idea to consider trading all of what you have in and starting over. That's my thoughts.

Okay so if I were to trade in my domino damsel, and my blue devil damsel and get a pair of false percula clowns what other fish would you recomend? I would like a nice peaceful community tank

There are lots of wonderful fish that go with Ocellaris clowns. I like the pink spot goby a ton. The orchid dotty back is a beautiful fish. There are plenty.
