and I finally got my new 180 up and running!

This project took far longer than I had ever anticipated. Tearing out my 125g, running RO, modifying the stand, replacing the sump with a diy acrylic one...the list goes on. Despite the depth of the project I had an incredible time and learned a lot.

Quick Specs....
180g tank, 72x24x24
approx 1800 gph total flow, 1200 CLS and 600 refugium (need bigger CLS pump, getting it soon)
counter current skimmer, replaced my Prism skimmer
52 gal refugium (old one was 30), opposing photo period
2x250w 6500k Iwasaki's + 256w PC, 8 hrs on
140lbs LR, 300+lbs sand

I'm not real good with the pictures, but I've tried to get a few shots for ya. They are all taken about 48 hrs after set up was complete.

Lookin really good there!

I can't wait til I outgrow my 55... which at my current rate will be in a few days... ;)

Actually, I probably won't be doing anything bigger until I'm out of school and settled into a new house... probably 3 years or so... until then I'll live vicariously through others 'big tanks'. :D

Great job.
