just reading the start of the tread, moore's law would not apply to led's. it is based on the speed of a computer processor not general electrics

there is a point and we are getting close that moore's law will reach an end, but I think LEDs have a similar affect, just not the same.

I know they are talking about stacking transistors now, but even then, I mean they are working with single strands of atoms now, you cant physicality get much smaller then a single atom thick...
