A DIY 5Watt Cree would reach that depth.i want to build a 1000 gallon reef tank. the dimensions are 8x4x4. is it possible that led lights will reach 48in deep in order to support the coral. what is the deepest the tank could be

They can hit the bottom and then some, but whats the PAR at the bottom?awesome pic nate! you could try led cannons. ecoxotic has a 100 watt cann thats supposed to be pretty amazing. its dimmable too
There was a different brand, but similar concept to the cannons that was at 300 PAR 4 feet down. So I'm sure they will work for just about anything.They can hit the bottom and then some, but whats the PAR at the bottom?
