Currently have a Flame Angel, Yellow Tang, Yellow Tail Damsel, Peppermint Shrimp and 2 Blue Leg Hermit Crabs in a 55 gal. FOWLR. When I purchased the tang from PetCo, I was told they only required 55 gal. Since then, I have learned better, so I am on the hunt for someone selling a 75 or larger...
I have a 200 gal tank with a 55 gal sump. After a tank crash when I used FWE (not FWE fault, just too much poison fm FW) I have a massive hair algae problem. I spent ALL last night pulling and brushing my rocks and things look better. I was given the Blenny and then bought the Foxface to help...

Ok, so I am "allowed" to use my 180 in the living room. We've decided that the living room carpet can be sacrificed :) I've cleaned out the tank, here is a "before" picture.

I dunno, I had an idea for a tank, but would have to build it to get it. I was wondering if anyone had any experience making them?
I was thinking about trying the plywood/glass method since it looks like it'd be sturdy, but does the cost of the stuff to seal it make the project more expensive...

This will be a 3 sided tank with a powerfilter on one end just for carbon and movement.

My xenias over the past two weeks has been looking really bad.
All my tank prams are dead on. weekly 10% water changes, no changes in inhabitants but they are looking really torn up and shrivled.
One is starting to come back but the rest are not showing inprovments.
for the few that have been following,
I need to settle a bet to whay I have cyano/other algeas taking over and killing my SPS corals
let me reference my other thread about changing too much water.
the first 3 replies said 10% per week is NOT too much of a WC.
He still refuses to believe it...
hey all... haven't been here for a while, but since it's just a month 'till I can make a nano reef i'll be back in force.
anyway, I euthanized my betta after a long battle with dropsy, and the 5G hex he lived in is wide open. I was originally planning a 12G, but more cutbacks have forced me...
