I've searched other threads and am not sure I found an answer. I spotted this worm for the first time in my husband's tank this morning. It looks to have lots of red bands and very small feet things. New rock hasn't been added for probably over a year and no new fish for at least that long. He...

Hello, I've had some of these guys (attached image) on the glass at the back of my tank for a while. Today when cleaning, one of the nylon screws on my HOB overflow broke and I removed it to repair. Behind the overflow, there is a whole colony of these things. They stay out of the way mostly...

I have had this feather duster worm for a while now, and I just noticed that it looks like there is two crowns... Is it possible that there is two worms in the one tube, or does the one worm have two crowns? Or is it just one crown that kind of looks like it has 2....

Dipped my corals today because something seemed to have nibbled on my clove polyp. This worm is what came out of the glove polyp:

Hello everyone! I have had a feather duster for about 2 months now, all going fine. I noticed that it was moving under a rock, tube and all. I thought the current might be pushing it, so I gently tried to move it back to its original spot. Later that day, I think it left the tube, since I can...

I found this when I moved some of my live rock. Is it ok to put it back in the tank? Or is it bad? It moves like a shrimp and worm if that makes sense, almost on its side when I'm watching it. Did not float around the tank when it first came out. It stayed near the sand bottom.

My tank has been running over a year and throughout those months I have never seen these guys until now!!!! Im guessing my chestnut crowie brought it in because there like 20 or more all over my tank. They move all around my tank like if they were centipedes. My questions are: what is it? Is it...

Hey Everyone, First time posting here! I've got a 9 month old 75 Gallon FOWLR Saltwater tank. Everything we've ever had, I've always been able to quickly identify. I can't seem to find out this guy. The pictures I have are taken from the bottom of our tank, it doesn't seem to move from this...

Pretty new to the marine aquarium business so many harmless critters seem like alien creatures to me, but my girlfriend yelled for me after she saw a long transparent worm stretching from within the live rock, near the bottom, to the top of the rock (apparently searching for fish poop to eat)...

I am fairly new to the hobby and noticed a thin tunnel along the glass in the sand bed today. I purchased a few corals last weekend and even though I used a coral dip, it would seem a few hitch hikers made it into the tank. The day after putting the corals in, I had a very small red fancy...

I managed to suck it up with a turkey baster. It's a little under an inch long, and at first, it looked like this: And then, in the amount of time it took my to upload that video and start posting this, I went back, and saw that it now looks like this: Looks like it shed its blue coating...

I saw this worm... I think it is not a good thing to have in my tank but it's quite hard to catch and I don't wanna move all my living rocks ... Is it dangerous? The worm is maybe 2 inches long and it is kinda gray/blue ?!? thanks

So my tanks been up for almost two months now but I haven't really added anything more than 2 "starter" fish and 4 emerald crabs (they came with some LR). About 2 weeks ago I added a UV sterilizer because the tank had a bad algae bloom. Since the algae has started to go away I've noticed some...

Hello everyone! So I noticed this worm looking thing on the glass yesterday.. Upon looking closer II realized there are a lot of these things in my tank living in the live rock and all you can see is the wispy tentacles on the rock. I thought it was just some type of hair algae and never gave it...
