Just a quick question:
Does anyone know if the controller for the jebao wp wavemakers will work on different models?
So for example will a controller that has been used with a wp10 powerhead work with a wp25 powerhead?
They seem the same to me.
I am looking at getting a power head (or 2) for my 42gallon FO tank.
Dimensions; 68cm x 45cm x 58cm.
I can get a hold of Jebao Wave Maker RW-8 from work for quite a good price and want to know if you think these will be suitable and if so how many would I need.

So I'm in the process of making a 29 gallon reef tank and I was wonder should I get the jebao wp-10 or the jebao wp-25? I'm gonna have 50 lbs of dry rock so I wanted good flow to get any uneaten food of the rock and sand.
I would like to have new flow pumps. I been doing some research and I notice I need a 50x flow for a SPS tank. Do I have to take into consideration that a Wavemaker only have one pump turned on or I can assume the flow of both pumps for the 50x flow calculation?
I was looking at the Jeboa wave makers for my 75 Gal tank.
Which model would you suggest between the 10, 25, and 40
How many would I need to avoid dead spots or should I look at maybe a power head to hit the spots behind the rocks?
I found the sweet spot!! I've been fiddling with a wave maker in my 55 gallon salt tank for over a week now, trying to find the right placement, and I finally found it! Absolutely no dead zones now and I'm excited about this....
Does this mean I'm officially a Fish Geek??? :funny:
Hi guys, this is my first post after reading and snooping for several years now. I have taken bits and pieces of a lot of threads trying to create the best chance for life and growth in my tank. I was hoping you all could answer my last couple of questions. I allow a lot of time before I...
i have had my Jebao wp-25 set up for over a month in my 40 long. Most of the time i have been running on linear flow H3 which is the lowest linear flow u can get out of the pump.
Over the past week or so, i have noticed that after i get back from work, the pump has automatically...

Hi there from the Uk.
I'm new to the forums and marine tanks too, but I have researched so long and STILL have questions that need answering, so somebody recommended these forums.
I bought a 20 gallon bow front tank and have added a fluval sea ps1, obviously a heater, a 800 l/h (200 US...
I have a 38 gallon tank with 45 lbs live rock (tank is 3ft long) and I added two 425 wavemaker (on opposite sides of tank)but it doesn't seem to make a strong enough current. What size is recommended to get a good current going that's not to strong but not to weak?
Hey everybody, I have an idea.
I have a 48 gallon tank. Dimensions are 4ft long, 19 inches tall, 1ft wide. I currently run a Marineland Maxijet 1200 (placed towards the bottom of the tank, facing upwards and towards the glass in the middle of the tank). My idea is to get an identical powerhead...
A very quick question:
Current situation: 5G tank with

- 50g pond pump (shown in below picture - left hand side on tank wall)
Objective: want to put more flow on the right hand side of the tank.
