I would like to know how many of you have painted/laminated your back wall. If you did, what color you chose for your tank and what your wall color is. Or, if you chose to wrap your wires instead. And lastly, if you like it or would change it. Thanks!
Looking to add a tank to my back room. Have a 55g in the front of the house.
Anyway we have a half wall that the top is 7.5" wide. 10g tank I have is 10" wide.
Question is is it OK to just sit it on the wall or does it have to be supported 360?
I have explained before that I just got back into reef tanks again after about a 10 yr absence. I once won Tank of the month for December 2005, seems so long ago, lol.
I'm happy to say I'm back at it again and I have finally put water into my tank to start my cycle.

Does anyone know where I can get some black plastic/plexiglass to make a fake back wall on my tank? I want to make a custom overflow for a 20 gal tank so I can hide everything behind the wall without using a sump. Sort of like how the JBJ cubes are built.
I bought a 200g reef tank, and i've set it up in my living room... its a pretty large space but the only position available where the tank would viewed by everyone is right next to an exterior wall. I live in Kuwait where the temps here usually rise way up in the summer so i decided...
Just completed my new set-up.:banana: It is housed in the hall closet under the stairs and faces into the family room. Did not photo as I built but wanted to share the finished project. Ive never done construction/carpentry before so this was a major leap of faith. It took me 5...
