I currently have a 47g bow front about 3 years old and appears well established. Just some fish at this time haven't started to add Coral yet but want to get into that eventually. We are changing our home around a bit and will want to move the tank at some point. I do want to upgrade instead...

Live aquaria seems kinda screwed up lately. If you look at each fish the tank sizes are right, but if you try to search by size the filter is jacked up. This is another set that seems well thought out if anyone wants to look up their tank and see what will be happy in it. Brassaxe stock guide...

Bout a week ago there was a lot of back and forth about tank sizes. I wondered where liveaquaria got the numbers they use, so I asked them. The response just came through:

  13. Tank Specs
Newbie here. When talking about my tank parameters, etc., do I include my sump in my total tank size or do I only use the display tank size? I have a 65 gallon display tank with a 25 gallon sump. So, if asked what size tank I have, do I say I have a 90 gallon or do I say I have a 65 gallon? Thanks!

Hi all, my name is Joe! I've had salt tanks over the years, but not in the last 12, and I've never had a reef tank. I'm considering a 90 or a 120; which is the same dimension as the 90, but 6" deeper front to back. Any pros or cons with these sizes? Should I be looking at another size all...
  17. General Reef Discussion
Is the old theory of a fish only growing to the size of it's tank debunked,or is it more of an ethical issue? I just fished a local pond today and was thinking about this in lieu of a conversation with a fellow angler on why the bass we caught were all about the same size and have been for...
