So first off I made a poor decision. I went to a lfs that I'd never been to and bought a juvenile sweetlips, I asked the owner if it would be compatible with my 40 breeder, and he said absolutely. I hadn't done the proper research I usually do before purchasing a new fish, and...
Hey everyone, im new to the forum. I thought id share my custom frag tank build. I will be building my own frag tank.
I will be using 1/4 inch glass.
A bulkheadwill be drilled through the tank to connect it to the refugium underneath.
So I received a Kenyan Tree frag from a buddy of mine. It was standing up, healthy in his tank. I added it to my tank. Slow and steady. But it is now drooping over its rock that it is on:doh:. Is this normal? He is in direct light on the floor of my tank. I am new to these and any help would be...
I have two strange green algae growning in my tank, just wondering what they are and should I be concerened? Also some new frags I got, I can't remember the names of. I think one is a pulsating xenia, and the big one is a kenya tree I think, don't know the others,
Unfortunately I will be moving to a new place soon and will not be able to take my tank with me. I didn't see this coming... I would like to sell the set up as a whole at this time. I have the following for sale.

How many fish can I have? I have a 110 gallon with wet/dry 75 until I get more LR. Then I plan to have a 20 gallon sump. I have only about 30 lbs lr. 50 lbs live coquina sand.
1 pj cardinal
2 false percula
1 purple dotty back
I just picked up this on Sat and set it up yesterday. It is 110 gallons I got it as you see here, (minus the rock, sand and fish which I moved over from my 55, along with my pc light you can't see in the pic) with a wet/dry 75 and overflow for just $200! (don't mind the cheesy plastic plants...
For those who haven't seen or heard yet. Steve had an unfortunate turn of events with his tank which has resulted in the death of most of his corals.
It's a shame to see one of the most impressive tanks in the world disappear literally overnight.

I have a really good friend that I can turn too when I have troubles. He recently created a article that I thought that I would share ... its a great way to jump start a new reef tank ... please don't give me credit for this write up .. but again I though that I would share ... Some of it I did...
Well, I had my first major setback; my 50g endured an early bout of Spring Fever. Basically, I came home from school last week to a tank temperature of 89F. Even before this frightening discovery, I could tell something was awry; all the SPS had no polyp extension, the LPS were all tightly...
I was wondering if anyone might have some soft coral frags they might have too many of or would be willing to part with? I have two nano cubes one 12 and one 6 gallon. I have been wanting to get some soft corals like zoo's and any other starter or easy corals to put in my tanks but I...
Small frags are fine, doesnt have to have many polyps each at all. I am looking for these for my 7.6 gallon tank at work, and looking for things to grow in nicely and fill in some empty spots. Let me know what you have, where your...
