Hi everyone, I just started a 10 gallon reef tank 3 days ago. I got aged live rock and water from another tank to start with so it would make the cycling process a little easier. My concern is the tank is starting to smell a bit and I wasn't sure if this was normal or not also can I do...
okay im fishless cycling my freshwater tank with fish food. my nitrites are barely starting to rise, so i must have an ammonia spike(my test strips dont have an ammonia tester). but anywho, my tank smells like dirty laundry. could it be the ammonia spike? or the fish food thats breaking down in it?
AmQuel Plus is advertised to remove nitrates, nitrite, Ammonia, Chlorine and other.....Question...Is it suppose to smell so bad? Like a perm? I'm hoping I don't have a bad bottle.
