I have had a toms siphon overflow to get my tank water to my sump for about a year. it does the job when properly maintained. My problem is that it doesn't skim the surface of the water... i have to rely on my canister filter with a bulky unwanted plastic surface skimmer attachment that kinda...
I am looking to pick up a better overflow for my sump. Currently I use the eshopps siphon brand. Works good, has never "completely" lost siphon but has come close. Usually air will build up in siphon until the water turn over is low enough to lower the level in my sump. I then notice it and suck...
