My cleaner shrimp just died. Last month my fire shrimp died. They both died while or before molting.
The only other fish I have in there is a Coral Beauty and a orange spot goby.
I also have a pistol shrimp, but it wasn't in there when my fire shrimp died.
Any feedback on why...
So something attacked my firefish goby last night. Took off about half his dorsal fin and some of his tail fin. The prime suspect is the new addition of an algae blenny but this is much smaller and i thought they were herbivores?
The other creatures i have in my tank are as follows:

1) comes out enough for me to enjoy
2) does not eat/kill corals
...well thats it really, i figured my list would be longer but i guess not. anyways, im trying to decided between a blood fire shrimp, skunk cleaner shrimp, or sexy shrimps. which would you recommend...

I came in from work today to see hermit crabs legs every where. I also noticed that the cleaner shrimp had a large red thing in its mouth. I then discovered it was a hermit crab:eek: :bigeek:
Why has it turned on hermits???

Now I got my attention on Hitchhikers. As of yesterday, I got my Live Rock. Far as I saw when browsing this rock up at Gerber's, I saw no hitchhikers of any sort sort on them. But may still be there.

hey everyone i wanted to keep a few shripmps in my tank here are the ones i was planning on keeping cleaner shrimp 2-3 peppermint shrimp and 1 coral banded shimp please tell me if these would be ok together in a 45 gallon tank. also if you have any suggestions on shrimp please tell me. thanks:fish:
