So I took the proverbial plunge and ordered a 135-gallon tank yesterday. The new baby is 72"x18"x24 with a center trap overflow and a black back. SOOOOOOOOOOOO....what do you think I should do with it? Give me all your ideas on equipment, livestock, etc. Thanks in advance.

I have a 120g tank with a single overflow with a 1.5 (I think) bulkhead. I'm planning on getting a Sequence reeflo dart pump for my return and that pump has a 2" inlet. I know I will probably never be able to run it wide open with my tank since I'm limited on the overflow. My question is, do I...

Lookinng to setup a closed loop on my new 75. The pump needs to be a pressure rated pump and very quiet. This will be going in my front room. I am thinking of running some penductors on this to really increase flow in my tank.

I just read in the sequence forum that its fine to run these pumps on and off every 15 minutes. This may mean that I won't go with Oceans motions wavemaker but rather 4 darts on timers. This would create random flow and save lots of money. What are your thoughts?

Ok I got a 5 ft. long 75 gal. tank that I had sitting around for about a month now. I want to get it lifted off it's feet and on its way. I was originally thinking of making this a prop. tank, but who here has a system on only growing corals and nothing else. I thought so, only a few of you...

I need to build my CLS soon for my 125 (72x18x22). I have the design I want for it but have a couple of questions on it. First of all I have around 600 gph of flow coming from my sump that is returned through one 1 inch pvc outlet in the tank. I want my CLS to produce atleast another 600 gph...

I know ive brought this up already. I finally got everything "re-setup" on Friday and filled with water. I turned on my PCX-40. Sounds like a hurricane in my house. Its a great pump but i cant believe its so noisy. It would be awesome if i could mount it outside or something or if had a...

I just set up my closed loop system and now I have a 180 gallon tank of bubbles with a few fish in it. Now to the question, how do I go about finding out where the air is entering the system? As this is the first time I have put together a cls I have no idea how to figure it out so I...

I have been running my 200 gallon reef tank for six years and need to replace the pumps. I currently have three Mak4 A40LX pumps (1182gph each) with one running my skimmer and the other two returning to the tank from the sump. Two of the pumps recently have been making excessive noise and I...
