My tank is a glass fish tank has some glasses on the inside. I was wondering if there's anyway to reduce the look of the scratches while the tank is still full of water. If it's not possible it's Cool, Thanks!

I just got a used tank that has a bunch of shallow scratches. I am going to start with wet/dry 1000 grit than 2000 but is it safe to buff it out with Plastic X compound on the inside? Any other ideas?

So i just bought a 90 gallon tank and noticed there was a 1inch scratch right in the middle of the front of the tank. Its maybe a MM or 2 deep. Anyway i could get rid of the scratch or have it less noticeable? :help:
