Good day I introduced a Scopus tang 3 days ago into my tank. This would be my first fish. I managed to keep some corals for a wile until I decided i would like a fish. First day a bit shy but 100% Second day I fed it and he ate well. Today when I came home it was just lying on the ground...

I have a brown scopas tang at the moment - I really want to get a yellow tang, i have heard mixed reviews as far as tangs getting along only if introduced together and if not its just a constant war between the new guy in the tank :P Thoughts please? Thanks! :fish:

I am observing a curious symbiotic relationship between the new cleaner shrimp I added to the tank & my scopas tang... The tang seems to be addicted to the cleaner shrimps 'feelers', which the shrimp is more than happy to do for the scopas all day long. It is really neat to watch and as a newbie...

I don't know if I'm mistaken but i thought I've always read that a scopas tang minimum tank size was 75 gallons. I bought one today looked it up on live aquaria for a price comparison of what I paid. I was reading the specs on the scopas and they now list them as a 125 minimum. How do you guys...

It's my third day with my 4" Scopas Tang, and he's still remarkably shy. He was exited about eating right when I introduced him but now he's become withdrawn. The damsel pack gave him a small bit of trouble when he first arrived but he just ignored them and now they leave him alone. I have...

Before I start This build thread I have to thank the person who is making it possible for me to set up this tank. So Josh, Thanks so much. About a month ago I came home from having some cocktails at a local establishment to find many gallons of water on the floor. Finding a leak when your...

Alright so I should lay out what we got instead of just harassing people. There's the 75 gallon, about 15g sump. Well, it's not really a sump I guess, just a fuge with a place to put the skimmer. The 75 has about 100 lbs of LR (about...), corner drilled to the under stand fuge. The fuge is...

I have been toying with the idea of getting rid of a few fish. I still have everything in the 29 gal for now and still waiting to get a new display tank. I have decided to get a bigger tank but still want to thin out a few fish. I have a Scopas Tang who is about 2 years old about 3-4 inches, a...

Hi, I'm Cassie. Ive been interested in saltwater aquariums since i was little. I finally took the plunge about 2 years ago without really any knowledge. I had a oceanic 55 Gal aquarium with fish and LR only. I used a canister filter and some blue lights (called marine glow). I bought the tank...

I am planning to start up a new system and do a complete build thread. But for now I'm just gonna throw this out there and see what you guys think. External dimensions are 60x30x20 I'm just gonna make it easy and call it a 155g, the sump will probably be an ADHI Berlin 60. I am planning on...
