Hey TRT. My sand sifting star has been in my tank for 2-3 months now and I've recently noticed it losing legs. Half of one 3 nights ago, the 2nd half 2 nights ago, and a 2nd last night. Are sand sifting stars bad for a reef tank? I like the idea of having one to help keep my sand bed clean but how bad are they for a reef aquarium? Will they only eat everything that is on the sand bed or will they venture elsewhere in the tank and eat corals? Let me know your experiences.
