samples

I work about 30 min from my house, and the lfs that i prefer is another 30 min past that, Can i sample all my tanks in the morning, store them covered in dark containers(refrigerated if need be) then take them to the lfs after work? i'm thinking that not much will happen in the 9 hours they...

does anyone have sand from boracay they would be willing to sell, ill make a pretty reasonable offer
