Hi, I bought a used 125 gallon and was told to reseal it by the guy I bought it from. I got into the process and discovered the front glass seems separated from the side glass on the left side. I though maybe I would have to rebuild the tank or at least remove the front glass and reattach it. As...

I'm just sick about this. My brand new Kessil a350 fell in my tank. :-/ I've taken the over off the light, let it dry completely, gently swabbed it down with a q tip in alcohol... Any other suggestions to try and resurrect it? Or is it a done deal?

Hi guys, I bought a Euro-Reef RS180 on ebay last week. It arrived yesterday but when I opened the box I discovered that a piece of the neck had broken. See attached picture. Is it possible to fix this? What would I use to reattach it? Is there a safe glue for this? What would you...

Has anyone had any experience repairing water damage like this on a stand. The base is particle board did not like being exposed to water. My fault, I should have dried it off. I am thinking about sanding it with a dremmel and then repainting it. It won't be perfect, but at least it is on...

Okay, so ice got a 90g acrylic, with a TON of haze scratches! And a few deep scratches as well. There's a guy who has a scratch repair kit locally, but he wants over $50 for it, and he says he isn't even sure if it's safe for acrylic. My only other idea is to go online, but add shipping costs...

I purchased a 240 gal Glass tank which is about 10 years old. Has had Salt water the whole time. We were draining it in preparation to move. I noticed that on the vertical seams, the visible silicone looks in poor condition. It appears to have thinned and lost some strings/strands probably...

I have a leak. I have not found the location yet but I suspect it has to do with the sump. If I should find a crack in the acrylic part of the sump, what can I use to repair it? Thanks for any help.

I was setting up my 300 gallon tank today and noticed, when it was about 1/3 of full of water, it was leaking around the bottom seam! The entire seam appears to be separating! I caught it quick enough that it didnt do any damage in the house. I bought this tank about 3 months ago and cannot get...

Hi guys, I'm glad I found this forum! It looks to be exactly what I need. I bought this tank... It's beautiful and looks great, except it has two chips on one of the smaller side panes. We didn't discover this until we filled it with water to test for leaks. Water leaks out slowly. I don't...

I have a Sybon Refractometer and when I got it out to check my salinity there was a film on one of the optics. It almost looks like a layer of salt but I can't even get in so I don't know how salt could have got in. It is in the section closest to the eye, I can't get that part open.

My 75 has several scratches. The owner before me was not very gentle with the tank I am guessing. To prevent buying a new tank I am wanting to get some advice on how to get the scratches out. The scratches are not deep, it just looks as though the previous owner used a scratcher pad or something...

Hi, Today I was cleaning my 25 gallon Acrylic Aquarium and noticed a crack running from the top to the rear of the aquarium (see attached photo). The crack is approximately an inch and a half. I'm worried this will spread further. I've heard weld-on works to bond acrylic. Do you think this is...
