I've seen on several sites that sell fish that flame angels are reef safe but one of them said there weren't . I wont say what one it was . Whats everyones take on them , are they safe for the most part ? Yes I know there's no such thing as a "REEF SAFE FISH" , but just wanted to know for those...
we have some really great fish and corals in right now. I'd say the highlights are an aussie harlequin tusk, fisher's angel, gold saddle rabbitfish, a majestic angel, a trio of pygmy angels that play nice together, and an rbta with a pair of ora host percs.
also got in a "shipment" of LE sps...
flame angels-reef safe with caution, hit or miss.... but what types of corals do they typically pick on if they were to pick on corals? ive mainly heard that they will nip at lps, but will they pick at zoas or palys or sps? i kinda want one.

i realy would like to put an angel (dwarf , pygmy) in my tank but get so many mixed messages.

I would ike to hears peoples experiance with pygmy angels. I have heard that flame angles like to eat larger polyp LPS, like scolymias and such. But I have also seen many of them happy in sps tanks. I am buying Pauls angel and I am debating if I will have corals in the tank.
