I have a pump that according to the head loss calculator will be putting out about 950 - 1000 gph. So my question is, do I buy a overflow rated for 900gph and throttle the pump back (if I indeed get that much flow) or get one rated at 1000gph?

Anybody have a brand/model of pressure rated pump that is a good pump? I need one in the 3000 gallon range and it has to be a pressure rated pump for a Beckett Skimmer.
