I have a potters angel and I want to make sure it has enough food to pick from the rocks.
Is there a way to increase/maintain a sponge population and/or diatoms? If so, would this be beneficial?
My potters constantly picks at the rocks and glass and also eats mysis so I'm not worried about it...
Yesterday, I purchased a nice Potters Angelfish. He is eating *very* well, and I am planning on moving him to my 29 (almost 30) gallon Biocube. He will be housed with 2 False percula clowns, 1 flame firefish and 1 baggai cardinalfish.
Some say that this setup will be fins (like my VERY...
Up front i have to say that my potter's is a voracious eater. It eats rod's original blend, which is a omnivore mix and eats green nori sheet from time to time. But are there other foods/supplements that these angels need in their diets to keep them healthy long term? What do you feed?
Well, i know how it goes so here's a few pictures of one of my tanks, the 75 gallon. Oh, and here is some info on the system as well. Hope you like...

I'm building a 125 Gallon system for the house and want to try building a nano from scratch for my desk at the office so this will be the one :D

I would like to find a colorful & interesting fish to complete my 29g.
My clowns are hosting in my large toadstool. My Royal Gramma isn't always visible. My neon Goby likes a hole in my rock. A lot of the time, no fish are visible at all from across the room.
I want something:

I would ike to hears peoples experiance with pygmy angels. I have heard that flame angles like to eat larger polyp LPS, like scolymias and such. But I have also seen many of them happy in sps tanks. I am buying Pauls angel and I am debating if I will have corals in the tank.
I know I should do homework on my own before buying any livestock, but I really trust my LFS. He has sold me everything in my tank. After coming on forums like this I am starting to have my doubts. When I question if certain items are OK for my tank and what I have he always says sure.
