How do you guys deal with these pesky ORA plugs?
I got a nice acro frag that I've left on the plug finding the right spot for it and I've found it, now its time to glue it! It is fairly well encrusted on the plug. What would you do?
Yesterday I picked up a few new corals. Can you just confirm that this is a lobo? That's what it was labeled but it doesn't quite look like what I've found on lobos.
And can anyone ID this? I think it is some sort of macro algae. It is a little redder than the picture shows. Possibly red...
I am a new hobbyist - but I want to avoid many mistakes first-timers make with their tanks by careful planning and meticulous care. To be honest: fish don't really interest me much (which is why I have passed over this hobby in the past); it is the corals that have won over my interests. When I...
I'm getting ready to move to a new house and I need to downsize a little on some of my corals. I'd like my frag tank to be close to empty. I have a lot more than what's in the pics, but it's hard to get pictures of everything.
ORA Red Planet $20

I "adopted" this coral from Deathco a few weeks back and wondered if you SPS experts can help me identify it. Color is not great in the picture but it is dark purple with bright green polyps.
I'm guessing Marshal Island Purple and Green Acro?
If you could pick any ORA coral at all but it had to be a frag (no mother colonies), what would it be and why. I can get pretty much any 5 frags that I want because I know a guy that gets them wholesale and sells them for a good price. I just have to put in my order.
I got one of those nice Red ORA Goniopora with the purple mouth 3 months ago. It looks good on my sandbed, the problem is I cannot get it to show a strong feeding response to anything I try to feed it. I've tried DT's Phytoplankton, DTs Oyster eggs, cyclopeeze, prime reef frozen, and...
Hi. So recently if you have followed my other threads i had 1 erectus die of malnutrition and stress mostly due to the LFS. The other is going back to the owner 2morow since it was stressed to and possibly that its mate died made it stressed even more so it stopped eating frozen food completely...
so my "tank dream" has always been to house a red mandarin fish. I have recently upgraded from a 10 gallon nano reef to a 29 biocube with halides and a modded fuge in the back. My question is, if I stuff the fuge with live rock rubble and chaeto to increase the population of pods in my tank...

I bought an ORA green tipped orange birdsnest from Matt a couple months ago. Great coral but I had no experience with the ORA frag plug and managed to break the coral into 4 pieces. The good news is I now have 4 very nice branched frags about 1.5-2 inches in height. I am keeping 1 and want to...
