I am pretty sure I am maxed out on our 33 long for livestock (coral beauty, 6 line wrasse, false percula, blue damsel, dragonette) but would like to add some more color. So, figure it will have to be with "simple" corals. I did trade off the large mushroom rock for a large star polyp and good...

Take a look at my mushroom rock.. It has this algae growing off it but its actually growing through the mushrooms. Now i hear this algae will help fight nitrates naturally but at what cost. Should I remove all the algae on this rock? Should I remove the algae that is only bothing the mushrooms...

We just added a really pretty mushroom rock to the tank on the side facing out. About 1/3 of the mushrooms do not get any direct light from the fixture, just a lot of sunlight. The mushrooms are not really shaded, just not super lit up. Will these survive without direct lighting or will they...
