Hi everyone, I have been in the hobby for about 15 years with the same tank running. It started life in a 20L with 20 pounds of live rock and 20 pounds of live sand with a 175 watt 20k pendant. I always had high stocks of zoo's, mushies, and LPS with a couple of fish. Three years ago I finally...

I bought some contemporary brackets to be used to hang my pendants. These brackets are brushed nickel and will be close enough to the waterline that they will get some incidental saltwater splatter over time. I don't want them to pit or rust.... What can I put on the metal to keep it from...

So I'm ditching my marineland reef Led's which have been entirely nothing but trouble. After many, many emails, they are finally going to refund my money back due to the fact I stated I would no longer continue to accept the replacements they try to send, seeing as they continue to fail after...

So, I have an older 48" 250W DE MH fixture I have been using over my 55 Gallon; However, I am now moving down to a 20H, and don't want to spend much (if anything) on lighting. I was thinking of gutting the current system, and grabbing a security light fixture from lowes, and just placing...

I have 3 metal halide setups for sale. The system is tore down and I'm getting out of the hobby for a while. I have 3 of each: 250/400 watt Icecap pendant, 400 watt Icecap ballast, and 14,000k bulb. The bulbs should probably be replaced but everything else has only been running for a year or...

Hey everyone, I recently put in a huge piece of orange zoos in my 29 gallon standard reef. However after 3 days they still won't open. It is under 300w of metal halide. It was open the first day but isn't anymore. My montiporas is doing great under the light so I'm sure it's not parameters...
