I have a saltwater master liquid test kit and the PH is very difficult to read. The nitrite, nitrate and ammonia are not that difficult to read but the PH doesn't look like it really matches any of the colors. It appears a light purple in color. Any suggestions?
so ,my kh is ALWays above 12.0 and my ph has never been below 8.6 that i have seen. How do i get it a bit lower.. even after water changes its still about the same. ive been using kent a and b.

I just received a pH monitor with pH probe yesterday, and when I opened the box, I noticed sort of a whitish "crud" around the probe, where the rubber endcap meets the glass body of the probe. Pictures of the probe (should) be attached.
