True Lumen led striplight kit with only two weeks of use for sale @$130. Each one has dimmable controls. I got a more sophisticated light so have no use for this one. I paid $180 total w/tax; still have receipt.
I am wanting to watch my calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium in my tank. Is the Red Sea Pro test kit better than buying Salifert individual test kits? Which of these test kits is easier to test with? Which one is better? How long does it take to test for each of these? Help me please!
I am wanting to check the calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium in my tank. Ive been doing research and seen Red Sea offers a test kit. Is that a good/accurate test kit? Would it be better to get individual test kits from another brand?
I'm in the market for a new RO/DI system. I'm in Canada, and it seems all the good RO/DI folks want to charge an arm-and-a-leg to ship the system to Canada. BUT! I found a Canadian dealer, who is offering a sort of neat 'build-your-own' system. Basically, just a customizable RO/DI...
I bought the Marineland LED kit 20:
42 White/3 Blue
it says 4.62 total watts + 990 total lux
Will these LED work for a FOWLR system?
it will be only soft corals, damsels and clowns (and live rock of course).
the tank is 24" x 12" x 16"
Do i need to upgrade? Money is pretty tight...
I have a quick question for those of you that test with this.
Does your phosphate test come back bright yellow if it's 0?
Mine never has and is always more or less clear which isn't a color on the chart.
Not the biggest deal but just wondering. :fish::fish::fish:
Hello, in a couple of weeks i will be moving my livestock from my 10 gallon to a new biocube 14. I really want to do things right this time, so i am going to try to dose Brightwell's Microbacter7 and the Zeovit nano kit together. Is this a good idea? Will they cancel eachother out? Should I use...
My daughter was kind enough to get a piece of argonite caught underneath my magfloat yesterday. Any suggestions for removing interior scratches in an acrylic tank? Are there any kits out there that are really good & don't require me to empty the tank of livestock?
after searching the net to buy a low range phosphate test kit... all I see is a couple reasonably priced ones that show .04 to .05 bottom levels... BUT with everyone commenting saying how much they stink.
What is the proper kit for hard coral phosphate level detection and maintenance activities?
Do any of you use API calcium instead of Salifert? I heard they are pretty much just as accurate. I ask because my calcium was reading off the charts (in excess of 520) a few weeks ago and after 50% worth of water changes it is reading level at 520. With a dKH of 10.4, is this possible without...
