OK, after the algae explosion, I stopped dosing like I was told I needed to, and got a calcium tester. . and it seems if I used the darn thing right, that I have lots of calcium(it took forever to turn the water blue).
The water is out of limestone well, so that might be why.. .
I will be bringing a handful of frags with me but if there is anyone else who would specifically like to trade some of the more rare corals feel free to pm, I want to bring some but I don't want to bring so many to where some get passed out and get just xenia or something in return...I plan on...

man this sux!! came home from work today to find the rock that my superman monti was attached to flipped over on top of my lobophyllia :( about 3/4 of the superman is toast... i really hope the rest of it recovers! it was just starting to spread itself onto the rock. had to be a turbo snail...

I am thinking about using some sort of phosphste removal method.
I dont have an algae bloom but i Am really getting into SPS coral and was hearing that this could benefit my tank.
What is everyones opinion about this?

well i lost a couple of my prized colonys i guess when i went to top of some fresh water it splashed and hit my mh bulb i didnt notice and when i looked a couple of hours later the bulb was cracked and the uv had really messed up 4 of my colonies 1 was completley gone wich was my purple monster...
