I'm getting brave and dabbling in sps. He's high up in the tank with medium flow, 2 weeks old. Any tips welcome

Hey all well i recently purchased a nice frag of elkhorn monti for 5 dollars and was wondering whats the general care for this cora, i read on liveaquaria that they benefit from feedings of filter feeder foods like micro-plankton. is this true? any help will be benifical and welcome!! thanks all!
