So while surfing the web I found this website. With Marine Feeder Shrimp. Here in Chicago also places I've talked to only have Ghost Shrimp.
I have a Fuzzy Dwarf Lionfish that does eat frozen Mysis shrimp. However I'd like to give it a treat every now and then.
Thinking about buying these...
Hello everyone! Ok so i have currently a bengaii cardinal, a clownfish, and 2 damsels in my 29g biocube. I really want to get one more fish, i was hoping it could be a dwarf lionfish. So, is my tank big enough? And will it work in my tank is it aggressive? Is it reef safe? What do you feed it...
The only thing he will eat is ghost shrimp.
stuff ive tried that he just looks at and laughs as i wave this stuff on a shsh kabob skewer.
So I recently bought a fuzzy dwarf lionfish for my 55 gallon that only has two other fish atm (clowns) and I heard they would hide in the rockwork until they became comfortable which mine did for the first 10 hours or so. The next day hes been out and meandering around not shy at all. Could this...
Ok well I was at the LFS today and I couldn't pass up this little dwarf lionfish they had. I have always wanted one of these but never really knew much about them. I am having them hold it for me until after work unless I decide against it. I currently have a small Powder blue tang and a...
I'm probably using the wrong word to describe what I want to do but I'm new to saltwater and trying to learn.
I'm kinda lost or maybe not to smart :D
I have a tank thats only 12" high. I believe the other dimentions are 48 1/2 x 18, it's about 50 gallons.
I was wondering if after I put...
17 years or so ago when i was into the hobby for the first time i had a dwarf lionfish and i want one agian, but i cant find any all i can find are fuzzy dwarf lionfish. is there a reason for that? any help is welcome and appriciated.
As Matt, Jake, and John know I found a slight leak on the base of my 75 :( It is just salt creep at the moment but I am finding it at the base of the tank where the plastic guard is at. Also underneath where the plastic guard is, if I scrape away the salt underneath it feels damp.
My LFS has a biocube size 14 for $185.
He has tahitian live rock for $5 a pound.
He has livesand, $1 per pound.
When you buy a tank he will supply you with the amount of water you need for your tank, for free.
All of the above said, LS, LR, and LW, are all from his huge tank.
BioCube x 1 $185...
My wife and I are putting together a wish list for our new 100 gallon TruVu aquarium. We have put together the following list of possibly compatible species from looking at compatibility charts and going to practically every aquarium shop in the greater Sacramento area:
1) Lionfish (couple...
What the heck? I have some ideas I want to try and entering the contest will push me towards actually doing them ;)
I'm building a 125 Gallon system for the house and want to try building a nano from scratch for my desk at the office so this will be the one :D
Nothing in stone yet but I will...
Some new stuff appeared in the tank this week...looks kinda like an anomone...I see four of these little hydras with tenticle arms. The biggest one is in the center of this photo and another smaller one is at about 10:00 above the big one. These are on a LR and I see two more on other...
I'm back in the fish game, and am looking into setting up a fish only tank this time for a lionfish or maybe a banded shark.
I'm not really set on either one, but I'm looking for something which will be unique. I'd like to have one large fish, rather than a few smaller ones, but...
Im about to start my first nano reef and im thinking about purchasing a 14 gallon oceanic bio cube for $170. Are these nice? Capable of supporting a beginner reef? Are there better options for similar price (+ ship) online somewhere? Is it big enough to keep a decent balance?
So I walk by the tank on my way to bed... I wanted to feed the tank since the lights came on just a few hours ago (remember I have them on reverse to help with heat)... I put some flake food in and notice that the oscellaris didn't come racing up to snatch food from my hand... I look around the...
Can 2 dwarf lionfish go together in the same tank? It will just be the 2 fish in the tank and lots of Live Rock for hiding, and no sand bed so it will be easier to clean the 'leftovers'
