So I want to turn this 30-gallon tall into a specialty tank showing off a fish and a mimic of that fish. Do people have ideas? I need to stay tropical, as there is a tropical grasflats refugium plumbed to the tank that I want to keep.
Here is my 125 FOWLR. I bought this tank in 2003 from AquaZoo. We broke it down in 2005 when we moved to FB, and didn't get it back up until November 2007. Before I knew TRT or NFMAS existed, I set up the tank they way it was before, crushed coral substrate.. BAH. I changed it to...
I wrote a thread already asking for someone to suggest a goby that wont jump. No one responded hahha.
Well I figured I'd try again, but narrow it down a little first.

I want it to not jump out of my tank and
I want the goby not to...
I'm setting up my first tank right now(its a 55 gallon) i came across some free used equipment and i was wondering if it was ok to use it without contaminating a tank (some power heads, heater, air pump, and a complete quarantine setup) I also just got a red sea prizm deluxe which came with a...

I located what I can with the free time which was available to me for I need now to move to the next step and make a fish selection for which SPS corals will be...
My biggest concern are the tangs. Yes? No? Maybe?
I see a lot of people do it. However, a 90 gallon is still just a 4 foot tank.
I would love to have a blue tang and Powder Blue Tang.

Has anyone ever had a mystery wrasse I have always thought they were really cool looking fish but dont know how they do in a reef, how hardy they are or really much at all about them. Before I consider shelling out the $$$ at some point in the furture I thought I would see what some experiences...
Went to the lfs to get some snails and came out with this bad boy. God its tough going to the store and not buying anything. I hope the substarte is small enough for him to sift. I think it is though. I know it looks a lil ugly I might have a small case of cyano

Not stocking my tank with fish yet but wondering if 1 inch of fish per 2 gallons fair? I read that in the Palletta book. That would be 45 adult fish inches in a 90 gallon tank.
Let me know. I tried to look at other forums but did not know which one to look at.
88 is way too hot. I didn't think this light would raise the temp by 8 degrees  . the fixture has a built in fan, and there is a glass top (for now). I can't afford a chiller; i need an alternative.
