Hello, I am looking for a new clam and came across a hybrid clam on live aquaria. They are calling it a squamosa x crocea hybrid. It looks great, but for a 2" clam it is $180. Big investment on something unknown. Anyone have any knowledge on how these will be long term and if they might need any...

So, I've noticed my GSP is growing along faster than expected (despite warnings from a few forum fiends) and I have it heading headlong toward my crocea that is VERY affixed to a piece of LR. My questions are: 1. Can the GSP "overgrow" the clam, or will the clam keep a space carved out for...

So I added a ultra grade crocea clam on Friday. I originally put it in the spot you see but right on the rock. After a bit I thought better of this since I am not 100% sure of its final position. And I dont not want it to attach to a 50lbs rock I can not get it off.

This was swimming around after the purchase of a cucumber worm. Wasn't sure what it was so I put back into the tank, where it proceeded, right infront of my eyes, to slip backwards into the tail end of the cuke.. yeah I know..lol

Hello, everyone! I'm new here and didn't see a newcomer's thread so I'll use this to introduce myself and my tank. I'm Barb, and my tank had LR put in on April 21, 2008. It's already loaded with corals. I've found I have no patience whatsoever, but I'm working on that! I live in Ohio, have four...

Hi everyone. I'm a longtime reefer and very active on a local reefing forum, but this is my first post on this forum. A little about myself: I'm a recent graduate from Texas A&M Galveston and I received my Bachelor's of Science in Marine Biology. I have had an aquarium of some sort for most...
