I was just curious about cowries - what do they eat, how much space do they need - just the basics about them. Preferably give me info on Chestnut cowries though :)

What are cowries like for a reef tank? A specific species would be the chestnut cowrie.

So far so good he zooms around the tank at night and hangs out at the top during the day... But what to name him? Or her? I have no way to tell...

I found a four inch tiger cowrie hiding in the rocks at the holona blow hole today!!! hes checking the tank out now, wow hes fast! I'll post a pic soon...

I'm looking for money cowries. I have had one for years and would like to locate a couple more. I can not find them anywhere on the net. Any help locating them would be appreciated.

Just wondering whether tiger cowrie snails are reef safe and does anyone already own one? I have to resort to these because I cant get anything else where I live. The only other option is some anenome hermits so which would be better?

I'm pretty sure that is what this is but i'm making sure cause i don't think i have ever seen one this color before. I have seen the velvety black cowries before, but unless someone has better eyes and memory than i do, i think this is a stomatella....
