My yellow tang is not looking to hot and I'm looking for someone that has a quarentine system set up that would be able to try to save him. He is still swimming and eating normally, but it looks like he has ich and he looks a little pale. I do not have the facilities nor the experience with s/w...

What is the recipe for max SPS growth? What light intensity is ideal and for what duration? Will longer light cycles make for more growth? What supplements and food should I be feeding them?

In this thread, http://www.thereeftank.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=44849 everyone is discussing Alfalfa's BB tank, with no fish, no LR and no feeding, this tank has high flow, a big skimmer, and a UV. The jist of this thread seems to be that the coral will do great, there will be plenty of...

I think..*now with pics!* Okay, I am convinced that the bio balls in my wet-dry system is the cause of my inverts and my fish dying off. I think that the nitrates are feeding the cyano as well. I will start to remove them as recommended, but can I place a bag of carbon or sea-gel in it's place...

Over the last few years, I have unsuccessfully introduced both powder blues and regals into my 90 gallon reef tank. Within hours, they become tainted with ick and are usually dead by morning. I have taken water samples to my LFS and also have tested levels myself (cant always trust the LFS...

I have small tubes that have grown out of my live rock. These tubes are very small and almost resemble a pigs tail. Only 1/4" long, they seem...
