So we want to add a new small fish to our 135 reef. Currently we have three clown fairy wrasses (1m&2f) (Cirrhilabrus solorensis), a f melanurus wrasse (Halichoeres melanurus), seven green chromis, a midas blenny, a blue spot jaw, 2 percs, 2 banggai cards, a yellow tang, and a blue jaw...
So I took the proverbial plunge and ordered a 135-gallon tank yesterday. The new baby is 72"x18"x24 with a center trap overflow and a black back. SOOOOOOOOOOOO....what do you think I should do with it?
Give me all your ideas on equipment, livestock, etc.
Thanks in advance.
So i am looking at getting a few different kinds of wrasses for my tank,
they must me colorful, swimmers, and well just plain NICE!:funny: :funny:
Question which wrasses can i keep with other kinds?:arg:
I have spent a lot of money participating in this hobby, but
I do not think I could talk my wife into buying this one.

faked sick at work today and went to a few different lfs. realised that the one thats a mile from my house is the best one around too, which is cool, but a bit dissapointing as i was hoping to find something better than what i was used to.
anyways picked up an super bright green open brain...
I want to make my reef into a wrasse only tank. I think this could be done. These are the Wrasses i like, and would these wrasses be peaceful towards each other.
Cirrhilabrus solorensis - Clown Fairy Wrasse
Cirrhilabrus exquisitus - Exquisite Fairy Wrasse
Cirrhilabrus laboutei - Laboutei...
I just want to prep you folks for an issue that I will elaborate on later, game is on soon and I intend to watch.
I just purchased 12 frags, I know probably stupid to do. Well they are bleaching really bad. I think that 3 are gone and more are heading that way.
I tested the water today...
Having sold my SunPod fixture in Hudson for some money, I proceeded to spend it all at All Reef. Peggy was delightful, helpful, fit me into her busy schedule, and all the other good stuff that keeps me going back there for just about all of my livestock needs. It's always worth driving an hour...
i guess i could say i am a newbie, but i think i know just enough to keep me in trouble :D here are my testing results can you all tell me if they seem okay and if any of them i really dont need to test somethings. thanx in advance :D

And purchased a few fish for the tank. It was pretty bare.

Here they are:
I also put a coral beauty in the tank as well.
I need help picking out fish for my new tank. I posted this question in my build thread but i think everyone is bored with my double build thread by now and not reading it ....lol
Anyways, i decided NOT to make my 225 lps/softy tank a predator tank like i originally planned with a rhino. I...
I am looking to buy a tang and was wondering what some of you have had in the past that you really liked or some that may have just been a pain. I was looking at a blue hippo tang or possibly a Chevron tang, however I havent really heard much about the Chevrons.
I'll leave out the neon gobie because of obvious mental hurdels.:arg:
One fish I've been considering is the blueface angel. It really is beautiful. Don't know if I can have both that and an emperor. If so, I think I may go for it. Here is a pic:
What have you been wishing for?
Maybe a club...
