Picked up a rock with about 5 Christmas Tree worms on it.
LFS said to feed them once a week with Phytofeast.
He suggested 5ML once a week.
Is that enough to broadcast feed a 75G tank?
Any tips I can get would help.
Oh and a pic.
I'm designing a tank for our aquarium and have fallen in love with the iidea of placing Christmas tree worms in the tank. However I need to know what other species of fish and salt water animals would mix well with this polychaetes worm. Is anyone able to give me some ideas ...
ok, my camera is not good enough to get pictures of what im talking about, there is 2 feathers, 1 black, 1 red, that are the size of a toadstool polyp on it, & a black spot that looks like its been burnt..whats going on here ?
I have some questions about christmas tree worm rocks. The internet hasn't been that helpful all the sites say pretty much the same thing which isn't much. Does anyone have/had one that they don't mind talking about?
i finally got all the pics back from my cruise last week . all the underwater pics where taken with a disposable underwater camera so the quality is not the best , the ones taken above were taken with a digital so the quality is much better , but unfortunatly there aren't many . the cruise was...
Show us yours. :) I got a purple-tip anemone a few weeks ago and want to compare him to some others, as far as how he looks. I'm wanting to learn more about them and I figure this is a fun way to start ID-ing different kinds.
I just noticed this. It doesn't look like a feather duster. It almost looks like a Chrismas tree worm
This is just cropped a bit closer

I have more than one tank, will add others later.
Pardon the mess - fighting with it all the time.
While I'm able to keep most of corals and filter-feeders alive and well, I have to change setups (and add the new nano-tanks) to fit their needs, not set the tank and fill it with animals who...

Jason from TRT Sponser "Coral Frenzy" has been kind enough to provide me with enough samples for the majority of our members to try. You can post your questions/comments about the product after you get your sample in the Coral Frenzy forum here on TRT.
These samples are available to NFMAS...
I have kept them under halides with no problems but has anyone kept the alive under other lighting?

We purchased a single smallish (2-3 baseball sized) rock from Exotic World of Fish this evening. So far, we have found:
2-3 color morphs of zoanthids (which we bough the rock for)
Encrusting porites with Christmas tree worms
2 zoanthid-eating sundial snails (captured and sentenced to death...
