I'm having every kind of algae in my tank and I use ro/di, 24/7 skimmer, and feed only a little everyday. Everytime I move my the chaeto pile white stuff comes out and I assume it's pods but it's probably detritus. I siphon is out every week and as much as I can but still algae. I ordered a...

In the process of rebuilding my fuge and had the idea. Why don't I put the chaeto in my filter sock? I wouldn't have to worry about it clogging pipes or intakes. I could use a more focuesed light which would lessen unwated algea growth in the fuge. Highest area of flow. The draw backs would be...

hello, what would be your advice on having a deep sand bed in the refugium considering there is a shallow sand bed in the main display (1-2 inches). would chaetomorpha algae and live rock rubble be better on its own or will the deep sand bed help with nitrates and phosphates? Thanks

He's been cleaning up the sump.....to extreme standards. Over night he's eaten the whole clump of chaeto! He hasn't really been touching it but got up...
