ca reactor

Which one would you buy? I tested my tank last night, and even though I only have a couple acros they seem to be sucking down CA much faster than I expected. Dosing is expensive, so I think it would be best for me to just get a CA reactor soon and be done with it. I already have: PH...

Hi all, Yesterday I setup my calcium reactor and after 24 hours, my calcium reading appears pretty perfect at 460 and my dkh is at 10.9. This morning when i turned my lights on, my tank ph is very low though at 7.63. (It is now at 7.74 a couple hours later). I need to know what I should do at...

Hey everyone its been a while since I posted outside of the DIY forum, hope everyone is well. Quick update: my system has been a little neglected by me for the past two months because of other projects and it was starting to show. I got her all cleaned up with a good water change and siphoning...

Ok, when I was doing a water change tonight, my GFCI "interrupted". After trail and error, I figured out it was my Calcium Reactor's regulator. When it is plugged in it trips the GFCI. I did not spill water during the WC and there was no backflow of tank water into the regulator so the regulator...

So ive been sitting here thinking about my tank just about all day, and thinking that putting a calcium reactor on a 45 could be problematic due to excess CO2 and lowering my PH quite a bit, then I got to thinking about my old planted tank that I used to have......that ran a CO2 diffuser to grow...

Still gathering info on these devices right now. Ive seen some tempting deals on used items here and there but I want to make sure I know all there is to know before I pull the trigger on a several hundred dollar equipment purchase. The confusing thing is it seems to be a simple device. A...

I am looking for a calcium reactor for a solana. The tank does not have a traditional sump just a compartment in the back that I am sure most of you are familiar with already. Can anyone recommend a good Ca reactor. The tank is only 34 gallons and dosing and kalk top off alone aren't working for...

DIY Calcium Reactor for 100- 300gal tank, this reactor was built from a Berlin XL Skimmer and has been tested with no leaks. It will fit in most stands and has easy quick disconnects for cleaning and CO2 tube removal. I put much thought in the design of this reactor for full/ heavy stocked 120RR...

I seem to be having an issue with my Ca Reactor. CO2 is pumping in but the effluent is coming out at close to the same as the tanks pH (tank 7.97 - Reactor 7.8). Tank is full, all lines are clear.
