So I finished my DIY ATO system before the weekend, took some tweaking to get it setup, but I got it working great. It cycles on and off fairly often (I only used one float switch), so I will eventually move the return for the ATO to my overflow box, so that it won't cycle as much...

Tunze Osmolator Nano and 2 Fishes Kalkwasser Reactor
I have seen the the Nano Osmolator is rated for a maximum of 55 gallons. Would that apply to a 29 gallon sump for a 100g? I presume it's the size of the tank but wondered if because it's topping off a sum would it work?
Anyone have trouble with this ATO unit not working? It seems to detect the water level fine based on the indicator lights but it never switches on power to my aqua lifter. It seemed to work fine the night I installed it, now I can't get it to work no matter what I do.
I know the pump isn't...
So. Does this look trustworthy?
I drilled a hole in a piece of plexi at the height i want the water to stay in the sump.
I attached the float valve and line coming from the RODI unit. Mine has an auto shut off sensor so when the clean water (output ) is closed it shuts the unit off completely...
Well I did it. Bought me a Tunze 3155 tonight. Leaving town for 4 days and this time fish are in the tank unlike last time it was cycling. Hope it's the bees knees like everyone says.
I really want to put it in the basement but have too high of a head for now. Will just use a 5-gallon bucket...
So, as my tank continues to mature, I have a wish list of things that I still want to add to the tank. I've just recently started adding corals - mostly softies and one LPS. I've been reading about what it takes to be successful and I'm quickly learning the importance of testing and dosing...
I am thinking i should do an ATO (because i don't trust people to top off for me when i go somewhere). There are many out there, some DIY, some purchase. What is the Best (yeah, i know it will be opinion based) for a budget?
I'm looking to get a 6 foot tank, found a few that are 100-150 gallons. My current 75 gallon loses quite a bit of water a day, but I can usually manage filling it up manually a few times a week. With a tank that large tho, I think it would be best to get an ATO. What is the best looking set up...

Hey, so i finally got around to firing everything up today and the only thing that has let me down so far is the ATO. To narrow it down, the outlet from the ATO for the pump isn't powering the pump. Now i bought this off ebay from the US, it's a hydor ATO...

I was curious if anyone uses this ATO on Biocube and if it would stick in the back of the chamber 3 where the water level marking is. Wasn't sure if it being plastic if the magnet would be strong enough to hold.
I am selling off some items I took off of a 220 gallon mixed reef that I just took down this weekend.
Everything looks and works as is new. Prices in links are good as shipped if you are not local to Central Florida. The only thing I won't ship is the ATO reservoir.
