my 250 watt current usa metal halide was working fine for a few days... but now i turn it on and it starts to brighten up... but then its starts to flicker and then shuts off but the ballast starts makin a little different noise....
has anyone had experience or opinions on my problem???
So, I recently upgraded lighting in my reef tank. It is 24X24X12, 30gallons. I got a 250 watt metal halide. My tank keeps getting to hot, I have it about 8inches above the tank. How far can I lift it to where it will not affect my corals? What would the proper spacing above the tank be?
