Anemones and Lighting

Hi guys,

This is my first post as I am a new member. I have a 50 gallon cube with a Hydra 26 light. I feed the anemones shrimp about 2-3 times a week. Water parameters are good. Skimmer working well. Plenty of flow with 2 MP-10's synched on each back side. Lights have the 3 blues at 50% and the white at 20% for a 10 hour period. They peak for 5 hours and ramp up and down the other 5. Im noticing that some of the nems are starting to bleach a bit. Usually they are SUPER healthy looking. Do you think the lights are turned up enough? Blues at 50 and white at 20 peak?

Welcome to TRT.

How old is the tank?
What are the actual numbers for water parameters?

Are they all bleaching or just ones at certain places in the tank? Usually we see anemones bleaching because of too little light, but it is possible for them to bleach because of too much light. My first instinct is to tell you to slowly start upping the light, but if the ones near the surface are bleaching and the ones on the bottom look fine you may not want to do that.

I agree with ChiWing, slow changes increasing lighting and monitor
