Kelps are red algae (Rhodophyta), very beautiful in appearance. Their branches and leaves are fern-like in appearance, and can reach a height of up to 10 inches. Their color can vary from a dark pink to deep red, and will add a beautiful diversity of color and form to your reef aquarium.
