My blue powder tang has small white dots on him! I read in a book that this means he has saltwater ich. I am putting him in a hospital tank but need help! What do i need to do to treat it! Thanks.

I am a newbie, but I've seen a product called "Kick Ich" which is supposed to be reef safe. Also, there is much talk on the forums about Garlic, and recently "EcoSystems" started selling some Garlic Elixir stuff. Meanwhile, I went to put SeaChem "Prime" in my tank one day and noticed that it reeks of garlic. Just a thought.

I was sure that anything this expensive and addicting was illegal... I keep waiting for the ATF to kick my door down and grab my protein skimmer...

The hospital tank is a good move
For treatment the two most reliable methods are either copper or hyposalinity. Of the two I prefer hyposalinity.

For hyposalinity you need to lower the salinity of the hospital tank to 1.009-1.010 and hold there for at least 3 weeks. After the 3 weeks you can bring the salinity back up to normal over a 2-3 day period.
