Hi I just bought a new octopuss about two weeks ago, the name the lfs gave me was Octopus briareus, and by my research that does seem to match, and yes Ive taken all the precautions and such, but my question is what will an octopuss like this one live with, at this point all I have is a damsel, whos to fast for him, and some coral, and a serpent star, also what is their favorite food Ive been giving him ghost shrimp which he seems to like. well thanks
Octopus are fond of crabs and other crustaceans, seems to make up a large part of thir diet in the wilds. A steady supply of the little purple shore crabs would prolly make it a really happy camper ")

As for your question, the answer is going to be "not much". Octopus are excellent hunters, and there isn't much that can handle living with one, most critters will either end up being lunch or will take your octopus out for lunch!
