Well starting a new thread, a downgrade actually.
For those passing through that are not aware, my 240 mix build is gone.
I will provide the link to the thread, but long story short.
The 240 gal tank split out twice, so I am letting go of the tank.
I have my Mix Reef in my 75, which I will link the thread for that as well.

This build will be a 125 gal, I have the tank already and will not be going any bigger for the mix Reef system.
But instead I am in the plannings of a 300gal plus SPS build, and that will be where I tie up all my exp, and lots of funds.

Here is the link for the 240
Mikes, 240gal Mix Reef System Build.

And here is the link for my 75

Wow great looking tank so far. I'm excited to see it finished!
Glad your all on for the ride.

Glad to see the 125g is well on its way. 240's were so last year anyway!

Looking forward to the build.

I have been busy.
Still not sure if I need to go with a CLS for flow, but am leaning towards no.
I would like to save my big pump for the SPS build, and try to get away with just Power heads for flow on this.

So far in and placed 6X 800 gph, and 2X 1300 gph.
The 6 800's are on the back/bottom, and the 2 1300's are on opposite sides near the top.

Plan on more just have not got that far yet.

Cant quit man, or nothing will get done.:)

It is a 135gal 6ft long one. So sxcited about it. Gives me the chance to do everything I have been wanting to do but didnt have the room for it.
Sounds like a nice tank. Give a link to your buil thread so we can tag along too...

Oh man 72x18x24 sounds like a great footprint to have fun with!!!
It is actually pretty good IMO. Not as much as the 240 but will serve well until the dream build takes off..

Alright. Tagging along. Glad to see you are back! Or... Never left. ;-)
No never left, just down in the dumps a lil..:agree:

SALT Q!!!

Any of you guys have an opinion on Oceanic Natural sea salt???

So I did ad a lil prime to the 125 and seeded it with some Coraline and a small Hunk of LR.
I have started to move over little bits of stuff from the 75.
I am having to cut little clusters of my Zoo colonies so's not to get any of the LR in the 125 from the 75.
Talk about tedious.
