KFC Cole Slaw:
4 1/2 teaspoons of tarragon vinegar (I think more is better and it has to be the tarragon kind..I think this is available in the boonies including even where Doug lives)
6 1/2 teaspoons of vegetable oil
an onion...it says to chop it up for some reason in the recipe
2 1/2 cups of miracle whip (there are alternate recipes with buttermilk and stuff but this works)
1 cup of sugar (go a bit easy on this if you like more of a vinegary type slaw)
a couple of carrots
a couple of heads of cabbage
There are all kinds of directions but just chop up the vegetables to (duh) KFC size then mix up the rest in a bowl and dump it in. This is sort of like a good pasta salad that develops the flavor overnight so don't overseason until it sets up.
I think a bit of cracked pepper will help this out as well.
