i have a fritter recipe at home it is the one you drop in to oil and they are "round" sorta.. that one you looking for too?
this is very close to it!



1 egg

1/4 c milk

1 c pancake mix

1 can whole kernel corn, drained

Cooking oil

Blend egg and milk. Add pancake mix stirring until smooth. Fold in corn. Drop my teaspoon in hot oil, 325 degrees, until golden brown. Turn and brown both sides.

Corn Fritters II


  • 2 cups corn, fresh or canned
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. melted fat
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
Chop corn very fine and add salt, pepper, well beaten egg, melted fat, milk, flour and baking powder. Drop by tablespoonfuls into deep fat (360-370 deg) Fry two to three minutes . Drain onto paper towels.
