Michael,
I'm trying to attach some pics:
- The first picture is the whole tank.
- The second shows some caulerpa, the
cup coral, the staghorn, and the finger leather/colt. You also might just be able to make out one of our two LR survivor polyps(between the staghorn and leather). Also, the second colony of bullseye polyps are at the very bottom to the left of the caulerpa.
- The third shows the main button colony, with the newest button very hard to make out on the left.
- The last one is a closer view of the caulerpa, colt, frogspawn, and green button.
Our digital camera is less than stellar, unfortunately. We also have many sponges growing in our tank, along with a wide variety of algaes and microfauna, but it's hard to see.
The finger leather/colt coral (I forgot which it was, but I'm thinking colt) is shedding it's outermost layer (like skin peeling) after the transfer and freshwater dip to kill the flatworms. I think it looks alright underneath that, though. A small aipstasia looks to have tagged along, but I'll kill it later if the
peppermint shrimp doesn't eat it. Please remind me to bring some rubble to the next meeting so that I can replace the piece you gave us a frag on.
- Ben
