Considering the size of tanks some people have I would say my reef is pretty small. I was just reading about that 17000 gal the guy is building a house around. Wow! Anyway thanks for the kind remarks you guys.

Welcome to TRT.
I gotta say, Im not a big fan refugiums, but your refugium looks better than many peoples displays. Very nice. Thats one colorful fuge.
Sweet display tank too.

Thanks for the compliments & warm welcome everybody.
I'm not sure about the international implications but I ship frags all across Canada. If you're serious let me know what you want and I'll look into it. Can I say that on here? Well I just did but I am not trying to solicit.

Wow bright colors. Love the tank. Welcome to the TRT. How long has that tank been up and running? and could we please get some pics of the plumbing of that system. just seeing the refugium being used as a show item, just makes me wonder how is this system put together.

Thanks danat86 & leveldrummer and everyone else. I really wasn't "fishing" for compliments although it's nice to get them,( so don't stop just kidding) I just thought that I'd show that although I'm new here, I'm not all that new to the hobby. When someone you don't know makes a comment or gives advice on a site like this it's nice to know they may have a bit of credibility although I'll never try to pass myself off as an expert, I'm far from it.
Thanks again.

Thanks, the fuge is an old school acrylic tank with a sump in the back. I just drilled to create an overflow pipe and added in another return line from my sump. The two tanks sit beside each other. It's a very simple design. The display was started in Oct 2004. I had some issues and did a complete teardown last Sept and saved what I could and started over.
