missing cleaner shrimps


hello
ive had a 12 gallon nano tank for about 6 weeks now, i have 2 perc clows and had 2 cleaner shrimps. they were all doing fine but i woke up yesterday and could only find one cleaner with no sign of the other one at all and then i got up this morning and my other cleaner is missing. im totally puzzled ive searched everywhere. any ideas? do clows eat them?

Where Are My Cleaner Shrimps??

I doubt the clowns ate them. It's not unusual to have them hide for a while, especially when they are about to molt or just after they molt. You might want to check your water though. You have a relatively new tank with a medium bioload.

i checked it yesterday and everything was fine. i cant even find any remains of them if they have died though. im sure id find them if they were hiding cos its only a small tank. what else may have happened please?
